FAQ

Q: How far in advance should a session be booked?

A: Sessions at horse shows and destinations not within the Chicagoland area should be booked as far in advance as possible to allow for travel scheduling if necessary. At the end of the day though, even if under a time crunch, we can still make your session happen!

Q: I'm not in Chicago, can you still come to my horse and i?

A: Absolutely! Travel is something we do all the time over at Collin Pierson Photography for destination weddings, fashion, and editorial shoots! All that is required is covering travel, accommodation, and ground transportation.

Q: What should i do to prepare for our shoot?

A: Outfits, Hair/Makeup, and Location will be the biggest determining factors in your shoot!  We are flexible, but we always recommend hair and makeup, as well as multiple outfit changes if you are taking photos with your equine friend. Having both the halter and show bridle will allow us flexibility.  Lunging or riding horses prior to our shoot will help keep them nice and relaxed!

Q: What Happens After the shoot?

A: After your shoot, the images will be edited, retouched, and delivered via an online gallery that is guaranteed safe in the cloud for 10 years. Depending on the size and scope of your shoot, this process can be a few days or few weeks, but well worth the wait!  From this gallery sharing with the world via social media, email, and download is possible. We will also set up time to have a short chat about the best way to display these photos in your home and barn!
